Search for the Holy McGuffin - Two Week Story

In a dodgy inn that seemed to groan under the weight of its own dodgy reputation, you're handed a quest that sounds more like a bad joke than a noble adventure. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and let's face it, the plot demands it), is to fetch the Holy McGuffin. This isn't just any old trinket; it's a fabled artefact with such an absurd level of sacred power that everyone's too scared to touch it. Well, everyone except that one bloke in the corner, nursing his ale and dreams of grandeur. So off you go, armed with nothing but your wits and perhaps a slightly unreliable map, into the great unknown, where danger, or at least a series of unfortunate events, awaits. Who knew the path to glory would involve so many chickens and inexplicably angry tavern keepers?
